On October 31st,
1916, Yee Wee Thing arrives at the Angel Island Immigration Station from the
SS Tenyo Maru.
On November 13th, 1916, he is interrogated by the United States Immigration Service: W.D. Heitmann, Inspector; Joseph H. Gubbins, Interpreter; and Sarah Davies, Stenographer.
He is asked about 75 questions. Here are some examples:

How large is Lim Mee Village? About 40 houses.
Which way does the village face? North
Who lives in the fourth house, second row (of your village)? Yee Soo Loy.
What family has he? Natural-footed wife; two boys and two girls.
